The Challenge
When Lyman and Waris reached out to Highline Commerce, both brands were working with a large nationwide 3PL. But the service levels they were experiencing—especially from an account management and communication perspective—weren’t meeting their expectations.
Their products, which include delicate teas and non-alcoholic champagne, required more hands-on care and packaging precision. They also wanted to take a hybrid approach to fulfillment—acting as their own distributor for select NYC accounts. To make that happen, they needed a fulfillment partner nearby, not across the country.
The Solution
Highline onboarded both brands simultaneously, working closely with Lyman to ensure a smooth transition and immediate improvements in service quality.
Together, we iterated on the packaging strategy to protect fragile SKUs in transit and meet the brands’ high presentation standards. We also introduced them to local, same-day courier options and even handled direct deliveries to key wholesale and retail partners ourselves—giving them the flexibility of a self-distribution model with the support of a 3PL.
The Results
With Highline Commerce, Bottle of Love and House of Waris were able to simplify their operations, improve packaging outcomes, and regain hands-on control of their NYC distribution.
